Fame was a 1980 movie about a New York performing arts school - Fiorello LaGuardia High. It followed the stories of the students who aspired to stardom. It is split into sections corresponding to auditions, freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years. This movie ranked number 42 on Entertainment Weekly's list of the 50 Best High School Movies.
